messing around with XRender

People have nagged me about handing them the code for this…

so here it is. But it will not be of much use I think. It’s not written in a way to be a clean example of how to use raw Xlib and XRender in particular. It is more a scribbled something for me to remember what I sofar learned about XRender, while diligently collecting pieces of hints and information from everywhere. Thus you might or might not get the logic behind my comments in the sourcecode.

    Looks good.

Maybe all these tests could come toghether in a more usefull application, like Nokia Monitor Test application ( http://www.google.com/search?q=nokia+monitor+test ).

Any ideas why this program crashes/hangs my xserver everytime? half the time my x restarts, half the time my computer (or at least its x) hangs till i manually reboot. occasionally had the same issue while testing xgl. i fear my geforce2go isn\’t up for the job, but theoretically it should work with this card - i think

the matter has resolved itself. works with xorg 7.1, but 7.0 doesn\’t survive this prog…

@ Marsbiker: Don’t be surprised and at least read the top comment in the sourcecode next time.
