Oh my… capoeira!
It’s nice to read Bryan’s words about his first encounter with the magnificent brazilian martial-art: capoeira. Bryan, let me tell you, this initial ardour you witnessed does never wear off again. I started almost six years ago, training with the group “Oficina da Capoeira”. I hope to get a few moments of beach-time during guadec and practise some combos and acrobatics. Should there be any other capoeiristas among the guadec attendees, please drop me a line so we may be able to arrange a little roda or something. Capoeira is something once started you cannot stop again ever! It’s very addictive, full of energy and expressive… much like OpenSource.

I used to do some capoeira - maybe a year or so - right now i’m to busy to train - well or it’s not high enough on my priority list. Anyway. If you feel like playing with a novice drop me a mail or talk to me - i’ll be hanging around at guadec as well. I do have a bunch of dreadlocks at the back of my head so it might be easy to tell if you see me.

Die Stadtkarte im LowFat Video kam mir bekannt vor. Wo ist das? Aber sowas wie Salvator, Westpark und Stadtgarten gibts ja auch fast überall. Sorry for not writing in English ;P
