How to make people feel good… and how not to :)
How cool is that?! How do you rehearse and time something of this scale? This even tops flashmob stuff like this imo.
This is not how to be cool or make people feel good *g*
(all those are safe for work)

HAHAHA! I love the last video, I watched it earlier and it made me a bit ill.
I was that the first video a couple of weeks ago for Oprah’s party. I was part of that dancing mob and it was cool how they set it up, but I had no clue it went back as far as it did. My mom and dad went with and they were even dancing, it was pretty cool how everyone got into it.

Here is a better version of the Windows 7 video:

Windows 7 launch party: Bunch of “diverse” paid actors talking about how great Windows 7 is.
Ubuntu launch party: Bunch of nerds drinking beer. (Presumably, as I’ve never been to one.

I like it but I found it kinda less impressive that the other flashmob videos, since it’s in a concert so it’s easier to prepare space for the dancers than in a crowded place in public. My favorite is this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EYAUazLI9k

@Staz - with the Chicago one, most of the people were not actors. There were a few of their dancers spread out in locations where you could spot them to follow along. A lot of the flash mob ones are all actors. I know when we got into the main area at the Oprah event, they just told us to look for people in our area as there would be a very large dance that would go on and they wanted everyone involved. I never rehearsed the dance at all, but I did see the few actors that they did have practicing it. And then people would yell out the next move and what not and there was always an actor near by to follow along with. You just had to be close to what was going on for it to work, as I sure as hell didn’t do it correctly, let alone good in the least bit

@nixternal > oh I thought all of them were also actors now that I know that it’s indeed more impressive
