What kind of tunes you listen to, when…
… you want to stretch your working hours “beyond what’s healthy”.
Recently I found the set Mister Electric Demon Live at Lille/France 2004 at Jamendo to be very energizing.

Great remixes from videogames… Most of them are techno, but are quite "energic", (since they come from videogames

My ISP provides a remarkable list of internet radio stations that don’t count toward my monthly download limits, so I’m working my way through them. The Chillout and Ambient stations are good for getting into the zone, but right now I’m taking a trip down amnesia lane with the 80s channel.

Mostly electronic stuff, mod or sid tunes. I also often find myself using the Banshee radio plugin to listen to some Ambient tunes.

I like energic and raw hip-hop like Jedi Mind Tricks and Arsonists, hardcore like Refused or hard rock like Motörhead when i\’m in the need for that extra kick. Primal Scream and Shpongle is also very nice for late night hacking.

@Patrys: Lol, that’s certainly a good choice.
I usually like Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew; with the complete (4-disc) set, there’s a lot to enjoy for hours and hours.
